The Restoration Process
Renovation requires patience and skill. We carefully strip, sort, and re-lay your roof to ensure another 100 years of service.
1. Careful Stripping
We manually strip the roof, salvaging up to 70% of your original slates/tiles for reuse.
2. Timber Treatment
Any rotten rafters are replaced or treated with wood preserver to stop wet rot and woodworm.
3. Re-felting & Battening
Installation of high-performance breathable felt and pressure-treated battens.
4. Re-laying
Original slates are re-laid on the visible elevations, with matching reclaimed slates used on rear elevations if needed.
