Do you remove the old wood?
Yes. We recommend a full replacement, which involves removing the old rotten timber completely, treating the rafter ends, and installing thick 18mm replacement fascia.
Can you just cover the old wood (capping)?
We can offering capping (over-clad) if the existing wood is healthy, but we always advise checking for rot first. Replacement is a better long-term investment.
How long does it take?
A typical 3-bed semi-detached house takes 1-2 days to complete fully.
Does the color fade?
No. We use premium Freefoam or Swish building plastics which come with a manufacturer guarantee against discoloration.
